My practice is rooted in person-centered, anti-oppressive values which means that you are the center of all of our sessions. We’ll take a team approach where we will co-create something that works for you. I’ll do my best to create an environment where you can feel comfortable enough to have uncomfortable conversations.
I also use a trauma-informed, integrative approach which means that I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor something that will fit you specifically. The modalities I pull from include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion/Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
